Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using the Online Guide Association social network. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

1. About these terms

The site is operated by Online Guide Association ("OGA", "we", "us"), based in Siem Reap, Cambodia. "You" means anyone who visits the site or creates an account. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
• Use your real name or the name you are publicly known by. Do not pretend to be another person, guide, business or organization.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. Businesses and groups should use a group page rather than a fake personal profile.

3. Guides and service providers

Guides, drivers, hosts and other providers who describe their services here must be honest about their qualifications, licences, languages, prices and experience. OGA does not employ members and is not a party to any agreement between a traveler and a provider unless we say so in writing. Travelers should confirm details directly with the provider before booking or paying.

4. What you post

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, text and other content you post. By posting, you give OGA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and share that content on the site, for as long as it stays on the site, so the network can work. You confirm that you have the right to post it.

5. Community rules

Do not use the site to:

• Harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone
• Post false reviews, fake recommendations, misleading prices or invented credentials
• Share content that is illegal, sexually explicit, violent or hateful
• Disrespect religious sites, monks or cultural traditions, or encourage others to break temple rules
• Post other people's personal information, photos of private individuals without their consent, or photos of children without a parent's permission
• Send spam, chain messages or unsolicited advertising
• Upload viruses, scrape the site, or try to break into accounts or systems
• Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights

6. Reporting and moderation

You can report content or accounts that break these terms. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other members at risk. Where possible we will tell you why.

7. Travel information

Travel advice, opening hours, prices, ticket rules and visa information shared on the site come from members and can change. Always check with official sources before you travel. You are responsible for your own safety, travel insurance and travel decisions.

8. Availability

We work to keep the site running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or remove features at any time.

9. Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, OGA is not responsible for content posted by members, for services arranged between members, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded.

10. Closing your account

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. Some information may stay in backups for a limited time, or where we must keep it by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make important changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let members know on the site. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
