• Account details: first and last name, username, email address, password (stored encrypted), birthdate and gender, as asked on the sign-up form.
• Profile and content: profile and cover photos, posts, photos, videos, comments, reactions, group activity and anything else you choose to share.
• Messages: private messages you send to other members.

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and the pages you visit, recorded in server logs.
• Cookies: a session cookie keeps you signed in and protects forms from misuse. We do not use advertising cookies on this network.
• Location: only if you choose to add a place to a post or your profile.

3. How we use your information

• To create and run your account and show your profile and posts
• To deliver messages and notifications
• To help members find each other through search, friends and groups
• To keep the site safe: preventing spam, fraud and abuse, and enforcing our Terms and Conditions
• To send important emails about your account, such as account activation and password resets
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who can see your information

• Other members and visitors: your name, username, profile photo and the content you post publicly or in groups can be seen by others, depending on your privacy choices for each post.
• People you message: private messages are visible to you and the members you send them to.
• Service providers: companies that host our servers or send our emails process data on our behalf, only to provide those services.
• Legal reasons: we may share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of members or the public.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete content or your account, we remove it from the site. Copies may remain in backups for a limited time, and we may keep some records where the law requires.

• View and edit your profile and account settings at any time
• Choose who can see each post, and delete posts, photos and comments
• Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your information, or to close your account

7. Security

Passwords are stored encrypted and access to our systems is restricted. No online service can be completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.

8. Children

The site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, please tell us and we will remove it.

9. International visitors

Our members come from many countries. Your information may be stored and processed on servers outside your home country. We protect it as described in this policy wherever it is processed.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make important changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell members on the site.
